Phish, along with Russ Lawton, Tony Markellis and Dave Grippo, performed this song during the encore of one of the final shows of the first Trey Anastasio solo tour on 5/17/99 at Burlington's Flynn Theatre. First released by Bobby “Blue” Bland in 1960 (as “Farther Down The Road”), the song has become a blues standard over the years and has been performed by many artists including T-Bone Walker, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton. It is possible Trey felt the song better suited to a power trio as it hasn’t been played since by Phish or any of Trey’s other bands.
